Collaborative agreement to offer a PN to ASN Bridge Program at Pike-Lincoln Technical Center

Pike-Lincoln Technical Center (PLTC) and Hannibal-LaGrange College (HLG) have entered into a collaborative agreement to offer a PN to ASN Bridge Program at Pike-Lincoln Technical Center. The Bridge program offers an opportunity for Licensed Practical Nurses to obtain an Associate of Science in Nursing degree from Hannibal-LaGrange College on the campus of Pike-Lincoln Technical Center in Eolia.

The PN to ASN Bridge program is a two-year program with classes being offered in the evenings. The first year is comprised of pre-requisite and support (general education) course requirements; the second year is nursing course requirements. Pre-requisite and Support courses are scheduled to begin in August 2010.

For admission to the nursing program an ACT composite score of at least 20 is required, or an SAT score of at least 940. For applicants who need to take the ACT please visit www.actstudent.org and register to take the ACT. When registering for the ACT, choose to have your ACT results sent to Hannibal-LaGrange College (2320). A residual ACT, good only for HLG, will be offered at PLTC on June 30 at 12:30 p.m. Pre-registration and pre-payment ($50) is required.
