PLTC is now accepting applications for our LPN Coordinator position.
This is an ADULT education position in the health care field. The LPN Coordinator will be leading the Pike-Lincoln Technical Center’s Licensed Practical Nursing program. This program is an 11 month program. Students will be eligible to take the NCLEX-PN exam at the completion of the program. Candidates must have a BSN with clinical experience, have a valid, non-revoked nursing license, and able to qualify for a DESE teaching certification (2 years experience and willingness to take additional coursework in the first two years of employment). The selected applicant will have to be approved by the Missouri State Board of Nursing.
The coordinator works with the other LPN instructors to prepare and deliver lessons. The coordinator will work with the students and instructors to create the clincial schedule to ensure that the students have the required clinical opportunities. This position will also work with the various clinical sites to make sure that their standards are being met by our students.
