Evening Class Schedule
| Basic Computer Operations |
Class offers students the
opportunity to learn operation and practical computer skills.
The students will be afforded hands-on instruction and will
take home real life computer skills they will use everyday.
Students begin with Basic Computer Operations and continue
through the term with Windows XP, Microsoft Word, Excel,
Access, PowerPoint and Publisher. All computer classes are
offered in a ‘learn at your own pace’ format,
utilizing the instructor to assist and direct the student
throughout all learning stages. Students that enroll for
this class save 20% if all classes are taken.

| Basic Operations |
Basic computer operation teaches the
student fundamental computer operation skills. Students
will learn how to “Boot Up” the computer, use
the mouse and keyboard, know what the “trash bin”
is for, what “desktop” means and many more terms
and basic skills. This class is for the basic beginner using
a computer.

| Windows XP |
Windows XP is the current operating
system that combines some of the popular features of past
systems with distinct new conveniences and features to help
you get the most out of your computer. Students will learn
operating skills and general features that will allow them
to expand the use of their computer for personal or business
need. This class expands on the Basic Operations class and
will take students to the next level.

| Microsoft Word 2007 |
In this word processing software you
will learn to create, edit, save, retrieve and print through
hands-on practice. Introduction to some of the more advanced
formatting techniques will be included.

| Microsoft Excel 2007 |
Spreadsheet construction and modification,
including data, formatting, creating formulas, working with
multiple worksheets and graph creation are a few topics
covered in this course.

| Microsoft Access 2007 |
Access is the tool to help you collect data and use it
in different formats. This is an introduction to data-base
concepts, table design and table properties, query design
and usage, forms and form design, reports and report design,
and macros. Learn the tips and tricks of creating a database
and sorting data.

| MICROSOFT POWERPOINT 2007 |
Improve the way you create, present,
and collaborate on presentations. Use enhanced multimedia
capabilities to deliver presentations with more impact.
PowerPoint will give you the options to do all of these
and more. Students taking this class will learn to use PowerPoint
and upon completion should be able to create their own presentation.

| MICROSOFT PUBLISHER 2007 |
Microsoft Publisher is a desktop publishing
program, a software program that lets you combine text and
graphics, as well as worksheets and charts created in other
programs, to produce typeset-quality documents for output
on a computer printer, or for commercial printing. Students
work at their own pace with a skilled instructor close by.
