Q. How do I apply to attend Pike-Lincoln
Tech Center?
A. A representative of Pike-Lincoln visits with all
sophomores at the 7 high schools in Pike and Lincoln Counties in
January. Each school’s unique application process is explained
at that time. In general, if a student is interested in attending
Pike-Lincoln Tech, they should visit with their school’s guidance
counselor. Junior and senior homeschool students should contact
the guidance counselor at the high school in whose district they
reside.
Those adults with a high school diploma, GED or having completed
homeschooling must attend one of our Career
Planning and Admissions Workshops before enrolling. These are
held at 9:45 a.m. on the second Thursday of every month at Pike-Lincoln
and are over by 12:30 p.m. Click here
for this year’s schedule. Each applicant will take a series
of brief skills assessments and be informed of our financial aid
process. Call or e-mail to register for the workshop at 573-485-2900,
ext. 225 or info@pltc.k12.mo.us or you may walk in that day.
Prior to acceptance homeschool graduates must take the ACT. All
students taking it should list Pike-Lincoln Tech's school code,
which is 2387, so their scores will be sent directly to us.

Q. How much will it cost for me
to attend Pike-Lincoln Technical Center?
A. For our daytime classes other than Practical Nursing
and Paramedic, the total cost is approximately $6,600 to go a full
day for one school year (900 clock hours) or $3,638 for a half day.
For our Practical Nursing class, the cost is approximately $9,015.
In addition, we offer a Paramedic course that meets one full day
per week but requires the student to perform additional work outside
the classroom. The cost for the Paramedic course is $3,675. All
of the above figures include tuition, books, and any fees. Almost
all students qualify for financial aid which significantly reduces
these amounts.
