Financial Aid
Financial
aid is monetary assistance to help cover the cost of post-secondary
education. It may include gift aid (grants and scholarships) which
do not have to be paid back, and / or low-interest loans. Pike-Lincoln
Technical Center is an eligible institution to participate in
student financial assistance programs authorized by the Federal
government.
The amount of aid you receive is generally based upon "need".
Financial aid is the difference between your education expenses
and the amount of money you and your family are expected to contribute.
Need is determined by the Free Application for Federal Student
Aid (FAFSA). These forms are available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
YOU must be the one to apply for financial aid though we will
be glad to answer questions you may have.

Any student accepted for admission or currently enrolled in an
eligible program may be considered to receive financial aid. The
majority of students that apply are determined eligible for and
receive some financial aid.
